STUDENT MINISTRY

relationships are a key part of student ministry—

both our relationship with God and our relationships with each other

"The purpose of the HuB Student Ministry is to WORSHIP 365. Christianity is an an going personal relationship with Christ--not just during church or events but every day of the year. We want our students to know Him as their Lord and Savior and to serve Him consistently with their lives. We accomplish this through these actions:  LOVE GOD (Matthew 22:37-38). LOVE OTHERS (Matthew 22:39). LOVE PEOPLE (Mark 16:15). We are so humbled to minister to such mazing students. We would love to have you join us as we teach God's truth and encourage you to live an abundant life in Christ as we WORSHIP 365!"

GIRLS ONLY EVENT | 6-9 P.M. | AUG. 9 | STUDENT CENTER

Attention ladies! All girls grades 6-12 are invited to party and praise the Lord at our upcoming Girls Only event! School will be right around the corner, so we'll focus on starting the year off right by keeping our eyes on God as we step into the new semester. We'll be painting, snacking and opening His Word together -- not to mention, the all-chick praise band will be back! Invite friends and bring $5 to contribute to snacks and project supplies if you're able (but as always, it's optional). No need to register; just show up and let's party!

STUDENT MINISTRY KICKBALL CLASSIC | 10 A.M. -4 P.M. | AUG. 18 | STUDENT CENTER

We're kicking off the school year with a Student Ministry kickball tournament! Each team must have 10 members (entering grades 6-12), and a max of only five people can be from First Baptist Humble – the other five have to be from your school, your clubs or the community. You must have a team name, and you’ll get extra points for creativity and team spirit! Each team is required to have one team captain, who is responsible for registering all teammates on the online form once they’re determined (you’ll need names, phone numbers, grades and schools). Each teammate will also need to complete and turn in a parent-signed waiver to participate.

The schedule for tournament day is as follows:

10 a.m.: team check-in

11 a.m.: worship service and kickball rally

Noon: lunch

12:30 p.m.: tournament begins
