9 a.m. | Prayer Room 1106

We invite you to come and join us as we pray for our worship services.

8-9 a.m. | Prayer Room 1106

First Baptist Humble believes in the power of prayer.  Our prayer room is open every Tuesday morning for anyone to pray over their own personal needs or to intercede for those who have submitted prayer requests through phone calls, e-mails, website and our church services.  If you have a prayer need, please feel free to submit your request by completing the form below.

All day |  #turnitofftuesday

Making prayer a priority requires intentional acts! We challenge you to think of something that vies for your time and focus and replace it with a dedicated time to seek God and His will for your life, church and community. Through Dec. 25, whether it's refraining from screen time or passing up a meal, our purpose in sacrificing is to seek and savor Him.

7-7:45 p.m. | Encounter, Room 2102

Join us weekly for a time of prayer and Bible study led by HuB pastors. Bible study is 6:30-7 p.m., followed by prayer from 7-7:45 p.m. Together we will look at what the Bible has to say about many of the issues in our contemporary culture. Registration is not required.

Week of December 9:

God, thank You for the joy we have in You through the blood of Jesus Christ, our Savior. We praise You for Your presence among us. We are never alone, and the joy of Your presence is always ours. Remove that which hinders us from enjoying Your presence, and help us share our joy with others this Christmas season. — Psalm 16:11

Week of December 16:

God, we pray the body of Christ would become united as one. Create in us a heart of gentle love and kind
compassion, and may we be genuinely concerned for one another. Help us — individually and collectively — live godly lives in Christ and seek to encourage one another and be of the same mind with godly love for each other. — John 13:34-35
