My husband, Doug and I have been married since 1997. We have one daughter who is truly our gift from the Lord. In addition to loving and serving the Lord, our family is where we invest our time. Emma Grace is an only child and we frequently have friends over to hang out at the “Rucker Ranch”. We desire our home to be “hangout” spot where kids have fun, get great snacks and are free to be themselves. We have a few “honorary Rucker children” too. A home filled with love is our goal for sure.
Doug and I love to travel to see family here in Texas as well as Florida. If football is in season, our family is watching and you will probably hear: “Go Noles” or “Go Cowboys”. Having personally experienced God and his miracles, we love to see God move in the hearts of people and know that the Holy Spirit is still active and alive. “I could sing of your love forever” is perhaps one of my favorite lines from a popular praise chorus. God repeatedly shows His great love to me and I am so grateful!
First Baptist Humble is a great family. Focusing on children and helping them come to know Christ and grow in their faith has become my life’s work. The Children’s Team is committed to KidZone being a place to come where fun and learning occur simultaneously. It’s not just Sunday morning lessons, because learning names, offering hugs, praying for concerns they have and growing in them a love for His word are all highlights for me. God has been faithful to equip me and then “be present” for all aspects of ministry.
