WOMEN'S MINISTRY

We exist to encourage and support ladies - no matter what season

or circumstance - to become fully devoted followers of Christ.

FALL STUDIES

OPEN YOUR BIBLE | RAECHEL MYERS & AMANDA WILLIAMS

6:30-8 P.M. TUESDAYS | AUG. 27-OCT. 29 | OFF CAMPUS GROUPS

We're all longing to hear from God, aching to know who He is and know His heart. The beautiful truth is this--we can encounter the living God today in the pages of His Word. The Bible is for you and for now. Whether you already open your Bible every day, have never read it before, or struggle to keep up with studying Scripture, Open Your Bible, a seven-session study from the women behind She Reads Truth, will leave you with a greater appreciation for the Word of God, a deeper understanding of its authority, and a stronger desire to truly know the Bible inside and out.

You will learn practical ways to read, study, and apply Scripture with confidence. Using Scripture itself, powerful storytelling, and real-life examples, "Open Your Bible" will quench a thirst you might not even know you have–one that can only be satisfied by God's Word.

Registration fee is $15 (includes book).  Childcare is available for the on-campus class only.  Register online through noon Sept. 3.  Grupo pequeño con discusión y libro en español.

2 PETER | KAY ARTHUR | PRECEPT UPON PRECEPT

9-11:30 A.M. TUESDAYS | AUG. 27-OCT. 29 | ROOM 213 (BIG CITY STUDIO) | WOMEN ONLY

6:30-8 P.M. TUESDAYS | AUG. 27-OCT. 29 | ROOM 1107 | CO-ED

In a day when false teachers and false teachings are rampant, even in the visible church, we need to know the truth in order to live effectively for Christ. Learn how to be kept from falling into error as you grow in spiritual discernment.

The inductive method of study used in Precept teaches you to discover truth for yourself. You will first spend time carefully observing the text to see exactly what it says. After examining the passage in context and comparing it with other scriptures, you will be better able to understand what the text means. Lastly, you will apply what you’ve learned by living it out.

Registration fee is $14 (includes book).  Childcare is available, register online through noon Sept. 3. For more information on the morning study for women, email Mikki Brewer at mightymikkimouse@aol.com.  For more information on the evening (co-ed) study, email Tim Bates at tbates1249@gmail.com.

LIFT MINISTRIES

The Women’s Ministry at FBH would like to introduce LIFT “Ladies in Faith Together”, a new program that aims to create partnerships between women at different stages in their lives. The goal is for women to be able to spend time together, walking together through spiritual disciplines, participating in various ministry events and enjoying activities together. In Titus 2:3-5, scripture encourages older women to train younger women. No matter where you are in life, we believe that God has graced every woman in our church with lessons in which other women can learn. For more information, email Gaylan Nolen.
