ORPHAN CARE

The HuB's Orphan Care Ministry, Hands of Hope, exists to remind the church of James 1:27 which says, "Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world."  We are a community of families who've welcomed orphans through foster care, adoption, international orphan hosting, mission trips and more.  Others in the church provide support to our orphan care families through prayer or providing meals.

ORPHAN CARE COMMUNITY GROUP (OCCG)

OCCG MEETINGS

Nov. 28 | 6:30-8 p.m. | Providence Community Church (5370 FM 1960 E)

We have resumed OCCG on the Tuesdays listed below.  OCCG is a community of families involved in various aspects of orphan care; pre-adoptive, post-adoptive, and foster parents, to name a few.  We gather for training and support as we seek to be the hands and feet of Jesus to children from hard places.  Participants in need of training hours will get 1.5 hours per meeting through our partnership with the Orphan Care Network. We are currently studying "The Beauty and the Brokenness of Foster Care" by Jason Johnson.
