KIDS HOPE

2017-2018 SCHOOL YEAR

Volunteers mentor a child in one of our local elementary schools one hour a week to develop a one-on-one relationship through reading, talking, playing and listening to a child at school.

If you are interested in becoming a mentor, substitute mentor, prayer partner, or help with occassional special projects, please click on the link to complete the Volunteer Application form.  For more information email Cathy Whitaker at cwhitaker@firsthub.us.

We are currently mentoring at Humble Elementary.  This month, our Kids Hope program will expand to four schools by mentoring at A.W. Jones and Francis elementary schools in Aldine ISD. Growth, of course, means needing for more mentors. We're asking for adults willing to give one hour per week to one student for one school year. This is a ministry that can change the life of a child, change the culture of a school and make a difference in our community and church. Training is 8:30 a.m. or 6:30 p.m. Aug. 29 in room 2102.   PLEASE register for the training session you wish to attend below.
